Hon. Kristine Eidsvik, K.C. is one of Alberta’s most respected dispute resolution professionals, serving as a mediator and arbitrator following a distinguished judicial and legal career spanning more than 35 years. A former Justice of the Court of King’s Bench of Alberta, she is widely recognized for resolving complex commercial, energy, insurance, professional liability, governance, and high-value civil disputes through practical, fair, and efficient processes. She is a member of the Alberta Academy of Mediators & Arbitrators and the Canadian Academy of Distinguished Neutrals.

Before her judicial appointment in 2009, Justice Eidsvik practiced litigation extensively in Calgary, with deep experience in commercial disputes, energy and natural resources matters, insurance, construction, professional negligence, shareholder conflicts, administrative law, and public sector disputes. During her time on the Court of King’s Bench, she presided over complex civil litigation matters and developed a strong reputation for thoughtful adjudication and practical dispute management.

Since returning to private dispute resolution practice, Kristine has focused on helping parties resolve difficult conflicts through mediation, arbitration, judicial dispute resolution, and negotiated settlement processes.
